Concrete box

The concrete box was created to bring the elements of this versatile building material into the realms of project storage. It is constructed from ten individual cast pieces and bonded together using a structural adhesive. It forms a centrepiece to display my other project pieces.

Concrete book

To help a reader become more involved and understand the texture of this unique building material I made these concrete book covers as I felt it was an opportunity to demonstrate that concrete could be used in this non-traditional way and protect within its cover the delicate brutalist patterns I had created.
